What is free, and what does Headtable Pro include?

Free lets you plan your event with your whole guest list, unlimited tables and seating rules, and seat up to 50 guests — auto-arrange included, within those 50 seats. You can export the seating chart as a PDF or image (with a small Headtable footer) and the guest list as a CSV. Headtable Pro is a single one-time purchase, never a subscription, and works with Family Sharing. It seats everyone and adds the full print pack (guest lists, escort cards, place cards and caterer counts, without the footer), a find-my-seat QR page and multiple events. Plans started before version 1.3 stay unlimited.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open Settings inside the App and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with.

How do I add guests quickly?

Type them in, paste a whole list into Bulk add, import a CSV file from Files, or tap Import from Contacts and pick people from Apple's contact picker — only the names you select are added. Guests in the same party or household can be grouped so they stay together on the canvas.

How do keep-together and keep-apart work?

Mark two guests as “keep together” or “keep apart” and the canvas flags any table where that rule is broken. Auto-arrange respects those rules when it fills tables for you.

How do I move guests between tables?

Drag a guest from the unseated tray onto a table, or drag a seated guest to another table. Tap a table to see everyone seated there, their meals and dietary notes.

How do I print or share the chart?

Open the Export tab and choose the seating chart (as a PDF or an image), the CSV guest list or, with Pro, the full print pack with escort cards. The file is created on your device and handed to the iOS share sheet, so you can print it with AirPrint, save it to Files, or send it to your planner or venue.

How does the find-my-seat page work?

With Headtable Pro you can publish your seating as a simple web page and print its QR code for the venue, with a 4-digit passcode printed under it. Guests scan it, enter the passcode, type their name and see their table — they can only search, never browse the whole list. Only guest names, table names and the event name and date/venue line are uploaded (plus the room layout, if you choose to show the floor plan, and any event details you write for guests). The page updates itself as you change the seating. Tap Take offline to remove it at any time; otherwise it is deleted automatically 30 days after the event. See the Privacy Policy.

Does Headtable work on iPad?

Yes. On iPad the canvas uses the full width and the unseated guests appear in a side panel, in any orientation.

Does it need an internet connection?

No. Planning works entirely offline; only purchasing or restoring Pro (which contacts the App Store), publishing a find-my-seat page, online invitations and syncing a shared plan need a connection. A shared plan catches up as soon as you're back online.

Does my chart sync between devices?

Yes. With iCloud sync on (Settings → iCloud), your plan follows you to every iPhone, iPad and Mac signed in to your Apple Account, in your private iCloud storage.

Can my partner or planner edit the plan from their phone?

Yes — with Plan together (Canvas → ••• → Plan together, or Settings). Send them the invite link; they tap it, enter their name and join, even on a different Apple Account. Up to four people can edit the same plan, and changes appear on the other phones within seconds. Inviting needs Headtable Pro; joining is free, and everyone on the plan gets every Pro feature for it. If the link opens in a browser inside another app, copy it and paste it in Headtable → Settings → Join a plan.

How do I delete my data?

Delete an event from Settings to remove it with its guests and tables, or delete the App to remove everything. If you published a find-my-seat page, tap Take offline to delete it right away (it is also deleted automatically 30 days after the event); nothing else is stored anywhere. See the Privacy Policy.
